Dalry Leavers 2010
School Leavers 2010

Friday 28 May was the last day at Dalry for our fourth year pupils with most now heading for Castle Douglas High to tackle S5 and S6 courses, while a small group have opted for college courses and the world of work.

All pupils were presented with certificates marking their attainment, effort and progress in S4 and a year group photograph. S1/S2 Newcastle Trip 2010

Looking out over the Tyne Bridge

First and second year pupils at Dalry took part in the bi-annual trip to Newcastle last week and, as always, Mrs Nelson had put together a full and varied programme for the three days.

First stop on Wednesday was the eco friendly village of Kielder in the hills of Northumbria, before the party made its way to Newcastle Youth Hostel – Lawrence and Jill were welcoming hosts and the food was well received by all. Ten pin bowling was a great way to round off day one with Miss Wilson’s last gasp strike generating wild celebrations!
